IWI ARAD 5 Launches in U.S. from Tennessee Facility

Featured in:

IWI US has officially announced the launch of the ARAD 5 for the American market, produced at the company’s expanded domestic operations in Andersonville, TN.

The ARAD 5 was developed in direct response to a request from Israel’s Tier 1 military and law enforcement units. After extensive service on the global stage, the rifle is now being brought stateside.

The Rifle

The ARAD 5 is built around a semi-monolithic upper receiver featuring IWI’s patented CamLok barrel lock-up mechanism, which secures a free-floated barrel assembly and a two-position short-stroke piston gas system. The rifle is designed for both suppressed and unsuppressed use. The upper mates to a standard lower, keeping fire controls exactly where any M4-pattern rifle user would expect them.

The IWI US ARAD 5 isn’t just another M4-style rifle—it is yet another example of our commitment to those who demand more from their gear,” said Jeremy Gresham, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at IWI US.
